Terms for agencies
Version 2026-11-01
These terms apply to agencies that use Zuwwar to run their website, bookings, payments and pilgrim records. Zuwwar is run by [company name], [registered address]. Privacy contact: [privacy email].
1. Your agency
- You must be allowed to sell Hajj and Umrah trips where you operate, and keep any licence you need (in Nigeria, from NAHCON).
- Trip details, prices and dates you publish must be accurate, and you must deliver the trips you sell.
- You set your own cancellation and refund policy, tell pilgrims what it is, and handle refunds yourself.
- You're responsible for what your staff do in your account. Keep sign-ins private.
2. Payments and fees
- Online payments go through Paystack straight to your bank account. Zuwwar never holds pilgrims' money.
- Zuwwar's fee is 1.5% of each online payment, never more than ₦20,000 per booking in total, taken when the payment is made. Paystack's own fee comes from your share. Payments you record by hand are free.
- We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before changing fees.
3. The Verified badge
We show the badge after checking your company registration and operator licence. It isn't a guarantee of your service. We can remove it if your documents lapse, if information turns out to be false, or if we receive serious complaints.
4. Pilgrims' data: how we process it for you
For pilgrims' data you are the controller and Zuwwar is your processor. Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, we agree to:
- process pilgrims' data only to provide Zuwwar to you and as you instruct through the product;
- keep it confidential, and make sure our team and providers are bound to do the same;
- keep it secure: private document storage, access limited to your signed-in staff, and encryption in transit;
- use only the providers listed in our privacy notice, and tell you before adding new ones;
- help you answer pilgrims' requests to see, correct or delete their data;
- tell you without undue delay if their data is exposed, so you can meet your 72-hour reporting duty;
- delete passport details and documents 6 months after each trip ends, and delete or return your data if you leave;
- give you the information you reasonably need to show you comply.
You agree to:
- collect pilgrims' data lawfully, and only add a booking for someone who has agreed to share their details with you;
- use pilgrims' data only for their trips, not for unrelated marketing without their consent;
- not upload more than you need (for example, health details beyond what the trip requires).
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Zuwwar for fraud, to mislead pilgrims, to send spam, or to break the law. We can suspend accounts that do, and will tell you why.
6. Availability and liability
We work to keep Zuwwar running, but can't promise it will never be interrupted. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
7. Leaving
You can stop using Zuwwar at any time. You can download your visa lists and records before you go. We'll delete or return pilgrims' data as described above.
8. Changes and law
We'll tell you about material changes to these terms at least 30 days before they apply. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
